It seems like once or twice a year, the entire country gets a little Powerball crazy.  It almost always happens when the jackpot gets outrageously high, and all of a sudden folks who normally don't buy tickets, decide now is the time.

Which, when you think about it, is a little ironic when you figure that your chances actually decrease the more people play, but I digress.

Buy A Home In Montana

The majority of the folks would take their winnings and use it to buy a home.  Even though homes are extremely expensive here, we'd like to think that with a billion-dollar Powerball Jackpot, you could find something in the state that you could afford.  Many thought a home with land would be great, while quite a few others wanted a lake house.

Go On A Family Vacation

Lots of Montanans would use their winnings to take their family on vacation.  The truth is, with that much money, you can take your family on vacation for years. While the destinations varied, it seems that a lot of locals would just like to spend some time with those they love.

Buy A New Vehicle

From a new truck to a fancy sports car, buying a new vehicle was also a popular answer. The truth is, with that much money you could actually buy a car dealership and drive something different every day. I mean, multiple cars might not be a bad idea, right?  A vehicle for bad weather, one for good weather, and maybe something in between.

All and all, pretty sensible right?  It seems that most Montanans have a pretty good head on their shoulders and that's not a bad thing.
