New Fishing Gear Perfect for Montana’s Waters
Hey all you Montana fly fishers and gear junkies! If you're anything like me, part of the fun is nerding out over the latest and greatest equipment. You'll be pumped to hear the news—Patagonia just dropped a fresh line of waders (for both MEN and WOMEN) and fishing packs, and they're looking pretty slick.
I don't know about you, but I've always jokingly called it "Pata-gucci" because, let's be honest—it's not exactly bargain bin pricing. But for over 50 years, Patagonia has been leading the charge when it comes to high-quality, durable outdoor gear that actually performs. The classic "You get what you pay for..." has been true for most of my gear. And this new fishing line? It's got some seriously cool upgrades worth checking out.
Patagonia's New Product Launch
After more than three years of development, 68 prototypes, and 31 testers Patagonia has launched a new line of Swiftcurrent® Waders and Stealth Fishing Packs.
What's New with the Waders?
Patagonia didn't just slap a new logo on these and call it a day—they actually went back to the drawing board. We're talking new materials, better waterproofing, easier to get on and off (thank you!), and simpler repairs if you have a mishap.
They've split the line of waders into two models under the Swiftcurrent name: the Swiftcurrent Expedition and the Traverse. The Expedition is your go-to for those rugged, all-day missions and loaded with features. On the flip side, the Traverse is made for those long treks where you're covering serious ground on foot and through water. So basically, they've got something for whatever adventure you're into.
I'm a total sucker for new ways to organize and carry gear. Do I actually keep things organized? Not really… but hey, it's the thought that counts, right?
Patagonia just dropped their new Stealth Fishing Packs collection—think vests, switch packs, and fishing packs that are lightweight, versatile, and built to adapt. One of the coolest features? The new Stealth Switch Packs can be worn multiple ways depending on your style (or lack thereof) of organization. It's kind of like the Swiss Army knife of fishing packs.

Well, if you are in the market for some new fishing gear, this is definitely one to consider! What do you think of Patagonia's new product drop? Let us know HERE!
