Scott Linehan to Missoula

Coach Linehan will join Head Coach Bobby Hauck's staff this upcoming season with a plethora of coaching experience. Linehan was head coach of the St. Louis Rams from 2006 to 2008. He coached some great players on those teams - Marc Bulger, Steven Jackson, Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, Leonard Little, La'Roi Glover and Will Witherspoon to name a few.

Linehan's role will be offensive analyst, aiding Offensive Coordinator Brent Pease (another NFL guy who played quarterback for four different teams)

Originally a Pacific Northwest guy, Linehan attended the University of Idaho and coached at Idaho, University of Washington and Sunset High School in Oregon. It might not be an exact homecoming, but it is a family thing. Linehan's son Mike is entering his second season as a defensive line coach.

Since 2020, Linehan has been coaching in the SEC. One year at LSU as their passing game coordinator and three years in Columbia, Missouri at the University of Missouri.
