How Far Away From Bozeman Can You Get for $500: February 2022
If you're looking to hop on a plane sometime soon, you're in luck. Prices are much less than I thought they'd be this time of year. More and more people are getting 'back out there' but there are still deals to be had if you're a little flexible.
We love checking in on the price of airfares out of Bozeman. Quite frankly, it seems important to keep tabs on those sorts of things. Housing, food, travel. All important. So let's take a peek, shall we?
What criteria did we use to get these airfare quotes? We used a very simple search on Google Flights. Obviously, we plugged in Bozeman as the departure city but we were completely flexible for a one week roundtrip.
We made sure that layovers were reasonable and acceptable. (No crazy 14 hour layovers or anything.) Also, no more than 2 stops were acceptable.
Bozeman to Bogota, Columbia: $436 (February 26th to March 7th on jetBlue) 9 hours, 28 minutes travel time. Just 1 stop in Fort Lauderdale.
Bozeman to San Jose, Costa Rica: $365 to $442 (May 9th to May 16th on United or Delta) United is the cheaper fare but Delta has a far better itinerary. They're both acceptable but we'd gladly pay the higher price for just 12.5 hours of travel time vs. 20 hours of travel time. Both itineraries have two stops.
Bozeman to Miami, FL: $212 (February 24th to March 2nd on Delta) 8 hours, 23 minutes travel time. One stop in Atlanta. FYI, we also found very reasonable prices for other Florida cities such as West Palm Beach, Fort Myers and Sarasota.
Bozeman to Barcelona, Spain: $368 to $466 (March 21st to March 29th on United/SWISS or just United) 18 hours or 14.5 total travel time. 1 stop only or 2 for the cheaper fare. They're both acceptable itineraries but the more expensive is far superior in our opinion.
Bozeman to Zürich, Switzerland: $459 (March 3rd to March 10th on United. 15.5 hours total travel time with 2 stops, in Chicago and Dulles, VA. There are mildly more expensive fares that have slightly longer layover times, which actually would be 'safer' in our opinion.
