High Wind Watch for Montana – Gusts up to 70 MPH

Many Montana counties, including Gallatin County, are under a High Wind Watch through Saturday night with gusts of 70mph possible. Travel could be hazardous.

According to the National Weather Service:

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a high
wind watch... which is in effect from late tonight through
Saturday evening.

* Winds... southwest to west 3o to 40 mph with gusts up to 70 mph
  possible.

* Timing... strong winds may develop on Saturday in association
  with Pacific weather system moving rapidly east across the
  region.

* Impacts... strong winds may cause difficult driving conditions
  for high profile vehicles.
