Graham Campaigns for Rosendale in Bozeman
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., traveled to Bozeman, Wednesday, to campaign for Republican Senate candidate Matt Rosendale.
A group of roughly 150 people gathered in a ballroom at the Best Western GranTree Inn to listen to speeches by Graham, Rosendale and Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont.
Graham focused his remarks on the tight senate race in Montana, but he also touched on the recent contentious nomination process surrounding Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Graham pointed out that he crossed party lines when voting for Justices Sotomayor and Kagan, but voiced frustration that Rosendale's opponent, Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., chose to vote against "a good man" in Kavanaugh.
Graham went on to say that the decision by Tester to vote against Kavanaugh was a major factor when deciding whether to make the trip to Montana in order to stump for Rosendale.
Graham closed out his remarks by telling the crowd to "send Matt to Washington, we need the help," referring to Senate Republicans.
