Global Warming Not Top Threat, ISIS Is: Secretary of Defense Ash Carter

Today in a House Armed Services Committee hearing, Congressman Ryan Zinke pressed Secretary of Defense Ash Carter on whether ISIS or global warming is a larger threat. Secretary Carter broke with President Obama and declared ISIS and other radical Islamic terrorist groups are in fact the larger threat.

Just days after the deadly terrorist attack on Paris which killed 130 innocent civilians, President Obama was is in Paris for a climate summit. Leading up to the summit and while there, Obama repeatedly emphasized the harmful effect that climate change has on national security.
