Modern skijoring combines Montana’s signature ski heritage with its cowboy roots into a wild, entertaining, fast paced, event. Competitors race for cash and prizes based on the fastest combined times for the two day event as well as the fastest time each day. Don't miss the Duckworth Montana Classic Skijoring Race on Saturday, January 23 and Sunday, January 24 at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. Admission is FREE!

There will be a competitor registration party at The Cannery & Burger Bob's in downtown Bozeman on Friday, January 22. All competitors must register at this event or pre-register online. Competition begins at noon on Saturday, January 23 at Gallatin County Regional Park, and concludes on Sunday, January 24. There will be an awards party at The Club Tavern & Grill following compeition on Sunday.

Admission is free for spectators. Bring the whole family out and enjoy the exhilarating sport of skijoring. There will be food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages for sale at the event. Please bring your skis if you are interested in participating, there will be an opportunity for individuals to try skijoring at the end of the day on Saturday (January 23) during the Exhibition Division.
