It's happening this Saturday, October 16th at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds in Bozeman and it's gonna be big! Here's everything you need to know to have the best time at the Montana Fresh Hop Beer Festival.

What's great about this particular beer fest is that it's a benefit for the Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT). Great beers for a great cause? Count us in.

  • TIME: 4pm to 8pm (3pm early entry for VIP ticket holders)
  • TICKETS: $25 for General Admission, $30 VIP Early Access

This is the 2nd year for this event, hosted by the GVLT and Crooked Yard Hops. It's "A celebration of the Harvest, Craft Beer, and those who make it possible".

WHO IS CROOKED YARD HOPS? Well, hops grown right here in the Gallatin Valley. When local brewers want locally sourced hops, this is where they can turn. 5th generation farmers, and you can find them at 8650 Gant Rd Bozeman, MT or at the Facebook link above.

Expect 30 Montana breweries at this event! This is a harvest festival, focusing on hoppy beers with locally sourced ingredients.

What do you get with your ticket price? General Admission tickets are $25 which will get you in the doors at 4pm. You'll also get a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited pours, plus live music at the event. VIP Early Access Tickets are $30 and will get you all that stuff PLUS you'll be able to enter the event at 3pm (one hour early).

This event is a benefit for the Gallatin Valley Land Trust. What is their mission? "Gallatin Valley Land Trust connects people, communities, and open lands through conservation of working farms and ranches, healthy rivers, and wildlife habitat, and the creation of trails in the Montana headwaters of the Missouri and Upper Yellowstone Rivers."
