Okay, so we all know it can snow at anytime during the year in Montana, but the recent snow at Big Sky is an good indicator that summer is, in fact, over.

On Monday, the video below was posted on the Big Sky Resort Facebook page.

With more precipitation and cooler temperatures in the forecast this week, chances are we could see some more snow at higher elevations in Montana.

Farmers' Almanac recently released the 2019-2020 winter outlook, and predicted a "frigid and snowy" winter for Montana. It looks like old man winter is getting an early start.

According to Unofficial Networks, the snow at Big Sky is the first for an American Ski Resort this season.
