The Montana Highway Patrol does know that the car was driving on bare pavement before driving onto an icy section of Interstate 90 between the 7th Avenue and Main Street exits at around 6:41 a.m. Monday. It slid off right side, down the embankment and rolled multiple times.
Llamas, who was thrown from the vehicle and trapped under it, sustained fatal injuries in the crash, according to the Gallatin County Coroner's Office. Llamas was reportedly unrestrained at the time of the crash.

The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was trapped inside the vehicle and extricated by the Bozeman Fire Department. A second passenger in the vehicle was able to exit the vehicle.
