Well, well, it's not just a personal opinion anymore when there is a poll to back it up. You can't argue with the facts, right?
How do you decide which states have the rudest drivers? A poll produced by Insurify for 2022 shows what factors are used to figure out what states have the rudest drivers.
Does Montana make the top 10? Yes, they absolutely do.
According to Insurify, Montana is ranked 9/10 in the United States.
Montana drivers cited for rude behavior are 29% greater than the national average.
When it comes to the most common rude citation given out, "failure to stop at a stop sign" would be at the top of the list. The percentage of these citations given is 68% higher than the national average.
Montana’s rude driving infraction rate is nearly 1.3 times greater than the national average.
So the next time that you hear people complaining about drivers in Montana, it seems as though they may have a legitimate reason. We are just at the start of 2023, can we at least try and make it off this list? Of all the lists and polls we Montanans are a part of, let's shoot for staying out of the top 10 of the negative ones this new year.
