I just need to vent for a hot minute. Now before the "if you don't like the snow go back to where you came from" comments start, this is where I come from: Grand Forks, ND.

So yes, I can handle the cold. That has nothing to do with this rant. Ok, here we go.

WHY do I, and many other renters throughout Bozeman pay $1,600 PLUS for rent, if the parking lots at our apartments are going to be skate rinks? I mean, if on the website it said, "comes with a free ice skating rink every winter", I wouldn't be annoyed, and would probably giggle a bit.

It would definitely be the perfect play on words. It can not POSSIBLY be THAT difficult to put some sand in the parking lot, some salt, WHATEVER is available to stop by car from sliding basically sideways as we come and go.

I mean, hell, I will go and put some sand/salt, whatever it may be, out in the parking lot for a small credit on my monthly rent. It is NOT that hard to make sure that people are getting around safely. For the money we are paying per month, put some damn salt down in the parking lot. IT'S NOT THAT HARD. This is why people rent, so they do not have to worry about exterior maintenance. Just saying. Rant over.
