Deputy Shot at During Traffic Stop on I-15, Suspects in Custody

Three suspects have been apprehended in Idaho in connection with the incident detailed below. More information will be added when authorities provide an update.

On Tuesday, at 3:30 p.m., a Jefferson County deputy was shot at during an attempted traffic stop. The deputy was not injured.
Multiple shots were fired at the deputy, striking the patrol vehicle.
The incident occurred at mile marker 185 on northbound I-15.
The suspect vehicle, a blue Chrysler 300 with temporary registration, was last seen fleeing northbound on Interstate 15, then eastbound on Canyon Ferry Drive from Lake Helena Drive in Lewis and Clark County.
The suspect vehicle was occupied by three males.
Authorities are warning people that if the vehicle is located, do not approach it. Contact the sheriff's office at 442-7883 or dial 911.
The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
