Check the Big Sky Webcams Before Heading Down the Canyon
Seeing the snow fall with your own eyes is always better than any ski report! Don't just get the numbers, check the actual live feeds from Big Sky Resort's webcams.
It's super easy to get an accurate picture for what's really happening on the mountain. There are several webcams up at Big Sky Resort and you can check them in real time.
As is tradition, Big Sky Resort opened on Thanksgiving Day 2020. Big Sky has 4,350 feet of vertical via 24 chair lifts and 12 surface lifts. Big Sky Resort's elevation at the top of Lone Peak is11,166 feet and gets an average annual snowfall of more than 400 inches.

You can also check the LIFT STATUS at anytime. Handy for very windy days or the rare days when a lift might be closed due to weather related issues.
LIFT TICKETS: 2020-2021 season is quite different from other years with limited ticket sales and a reservation system in place to ensure the safety. "If products for your selected dates are "sold out" online, they will not be available for walk-up or phone sales. Online tickets must be purchased at least one day in advance of your ticket start date. "
