Cash 4 Candy is Happening Again in Bozeman

Want your kids to have fun this Halloween, but don't want them eating all that candy and getting cavities? Well, Sayre Orthodontics is having its fifth annual Cash 4 Candy event.

Starting in November, children can bring in their Halloween candy and get paid $2 a pound. Sayre also gives an equal amount to some of our local schools.

The candy is donated to Adopt-A-Sox, which puts together care packages for our Montana troops. Last year they collected over 700 pounds of candy and donated over $1,400 to local schools.

The kids sometimes also get letters from troops thanking them for the care packages. This is a nice way for schools that participated in past years to get some funding and teach children about good citizenship.
