Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) offered some good advice to fellow Montana Democrat Steve Bullock, who is complaining about not qualifying for the presidential primary debate due to his zero percent polling. Tester basically told Bullock to put on his big boy pants.

Here's the story from Politico:

Montana Gov. Steve Bullock is the biggest loser under the current formula, and he’s complained loudly about missing the first debate. His lone congressional endorsee, however, wasn’t as worked up.

“I’d love him to be on the debate stage, but if in fact he didn’t meet the criteria that the DNC set up, that’s that,” said Montana Sen. Jon Tester, adding that it would be “crazy” for the party to tweak the rules in response to grumbling.

Bullock seems to be taking hits from all sides. As Deadline.com reports, HBO's John Oliver tore in to Bullock's response:

...the titular host started the show by talking about the forthcoming Democratic debates and poking fun at Steve Bullock for releasing a YouTube video in retaliation — a video that barely got any views.
