Bozeman’s Children Need Our Help
Representatives from Child Bridge were on Dominick In The Morning today and they are having a community event tomorrow night in Bozeman.
Looking at the world problem of children in need they sited an amazing fact:
“143 million orphans. 2 billion Christians. If just 7% of today’s Christians cared for a single orphan, there would be no more orphans.”
The number of children needing foster care is growing. The drug problem is breaking up families. Children who can't be cared for by their parents in Montana need a place to go.
Child Bridge builds awareness and finds foster and adoptive families for Montana children using churches across the state.
The children are usually traumatized and foster parents need to learn to give "trauma-informed" care. Educational, therapeutic and family support resources are things supplied by Child Bridge.
But, Bozeman, they need our support. The event Child Bridge is having is called "On Earth as It is in Heaven: Save The Date" 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Emerson, Weaver Room. There will be appetizers and a cash bar.
