Up to 4 fresh inches of snow is expected near Livingston with a Winter Weather Advisory in effect through 9am Friday and MUCH cooler temperatures on the way.

According to the National Weather Service:

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON THURSDAY TO 9 AM FRIDAY.

  • WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches, with locally higher amounts possible near the mountains.
  • WHERE...Portions of North Central Wyoming and Central and South Central Montana.
  • WHEN...From noon today to 9 AM MST Friday. Heaviest snowfall will occur after sunset.
  • Travel will become difficult due to snowy and slick roads, and limited visibility. Expect temperatures in the single digits and a fresh snow cover for the Friday morning commute.
  • Slow down and use caution while traveling.
