The tornadoes in Oklahoma earlier this week destroyed thousands of structures and claimed the lives of 24 people. Sometimes it's hard to imagine a single force that devastating. Here are before and after satellite images of the towns hit. Seeing the path of destruction helps us a little to understand what happened during the storm.

Many families are still in great need of assistance after having lost everything. Donate to the Red Cross to help get families the items necessary to fight through this tragedy.
