I've been in radio for 20 years as a DJ, news & traffic reporter. I'm a big fan of country music and love playing all your favorite country songs on XL Country from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each weekday! I have lived in the Great Northwest most of my life, and I love it. There’s nothing like the people in this part of the country! We’ve got breathtaking scenery, myriad forms of recreation, amazing sunrises and sunsets…it’s the perfect place to raise a family! Rob and I have been married for almost 24 years and have 2 great kids. I have been singing since I was 5 and I love the really powerful singers (Martina McBride, Wynonna, LeAnn Rimes, etc.) and all kinds of music. Rob plays guitar and sings, as well, and we love playing together. I also enjoy relaxing at home with the family, reading, cooking, making jewelry, watching movies, and I’m always on a quest to be more organized!

Bozeman #2 on List of Best College Towns in America
Athens, Georgia, I think we could take you. Athens came in #1, but at least the people at Matador Network who made this list got us right up close to the top.
They start out with “It’s easy to fall for Bozeman...” citing all the great outdoor opportunities, the Ellen Theatre, and MSU, of course, with Museum of the Rockies and its huge collection of dinosaur fossils...
Volunteer to Help Build Tiny Houses for the Homeless
I love the tiny homes-type shows and seeing how much they can do with just a little space. That’s just one reason I love the idea of tiny homes to help solve the homeless problem. If you feel the same way, you can help!
The HRDC is working on a second tiny home build project the next three weekends: July 22-23, July 29-30, and August 5-6...
Free Meals for Kids During the Summer
Wow, so how about this statistic? Families can end up spending an extra $300 per month on food when kids are out of school. That's one reason the HRDC's Summer Lunch Program provides FREE breakfast and lunch to kids under 18 at more than 11 sites throughout the Gallatin Valley during June, July and August...
Downtown Bozeman Construction Starts Monday
Just a heads up that Monday, June 26th, sidewalk replacement starts on North Black just north of Main Street, on the east side between Main Street and the alley. You may be slightly inconvenienced as there will be no parking on BOTH sides of the street during the two weeks they expect the project to last...
#Yellowstone Pledge or Don’t Be A Jerk
Last year, there were a few pretty disturbing--and completely preventable--things that happened at Yellowstone. From the bison calf that had to be euthanized because tourists put it in the back of their car, to the man who died after walking off a boardwalk and falling into a hot springs...

Win $1,000 for Designing a Shirt or Poster for the Sweet Pea Festival
It's the 40th year for the Sweet Pea Festival, scheduled for Aug 4-6, but the deadline to submit a design for this year's poster or T-shirt is this Friday!
The festival has grown greatly over the past 40 years, and to help commemorate that, this year's theme is "Back To Our Roots" (which could help give you a great design idea for the poster and/or T-shirt)...
