Bozeman High School Science teacher, Paul Anderson, is being considered for the National Teacher of The Year Award. Anderson is known for being very creative in his teaching. One progressive method is he allows students to text message answers--during class!

Not only that, but Anderson has been traveling with students to the Galapagos Islands to teach them evolution in the very same locations that Darwin formulated his Theory of Evolution.

The recipients of the Teacher of The Year Award spread their knowledge and understanding of teaching all across the country through hundreds of lectures to teachers and students.

Anderson told the Bozeman Chronicle, "It would be bad to be out of the classroom," he said, but added, "It would be an amazing experience."

Let's all hope that Anderson brings home the title for Montana, a state where sometimes the teachers do go unnoticed.
