A female Missoula Police Officer has been injured by the vehicle of a fleeing suspect. The suspect was shot and wounded, but fled the scene and found a few hours later in a southside residence in Missoula.

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Police have arrested a Billings man after an early morning shooting that left another man dead.

A 51-year-old man faces felony intimidation charges after someone called 911 in Billings and said "school shooting tomorrow" before hanging up.

Authorities have released the names of the victims of Friday's mass shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, in which Adam Lanza, 20, reportedly killed 27 people, as well as himself. Lanza's rampage began when he shot and killed his mother, Nancy, at her home before he drove to Sandy Hook Elementary School and killed six adults and 20 children before taking his own life.

The law, that officially goes into effect today, also allows gun owners with permits to carry loaded firearms openly on their own private property and also allows permitted gun owners from other states to carry them openly while visiting or traveling in Oklahoma.

According to Bozeman Police, a 24 year woman was shot around 1:30am last night in the Gallatin Valley Mall Parking lot near Taco Bell. 22 year old Nathanial John Budd has been charged with 2 counts of attempted deliberate homicide.  He is currently being held  without bail and will make an appearance in Justice Court Monday...

UPDATE (Nov. 20) 9:00am On November 19, 2012, the Gallatin County Coroner responded to Warble Lane in Bozeman to a report of an apparent murder/suicide.  The two individuals were identified as 31 year-old Uriah Storm Kimble and 33 year-old Alicia Nicole Smith.
