Glenn Beck, like many who make their living using their voice, has been diagnosed with severe vocal cord strain, caused by overuse.  He is expected to fully recover later this month. In the meantime, doctors have asked Glenn to refrain from speaking for any prolonged periods while his vocal cords recover under medical supervision and therapy.

Glenn is expected to return to hosting his radio and television programs on Monday, Aug. 3 with a full recovery. Glenn will need to fight every urge to speak to give his vocal cords rest.  A selection of guests, including co-hosts Stu Burguiere and Pat Gray, will offer similar entertaining and enlightening points of view on his radio program.

Speedy recovery, Glenn!
