Americans for Prosperity Announce New State Director

Americans for Prosperity Montana recently announced the hire of David Herbst as the new state director for the Montana Chapter.

Herbst is a fifth generation Montana native who has spent his career working to advance the cause of liberty and promote economic freedom across our great state. Most recently, Herbst worked to develop the sophisticated field programs to deliver U.S. Senator Steve Daines and Congressman Ryan Zinke their historic wins.

I am excited to continue the good work Americans for Prosperity has laid out in Montana,” Herbst said. "As a fifth generation Montanan, nothing means more to me than seeing hard-working Montanans all across this great state be able to live prosperously and fulfill their own version of the American Dream. Together we’ll work to tackle the many issues our state is facing like stopping reckless spending, repealing burdensome regulations and making Montana a better place to do business. Montana can be a national leader in economic prosperity and, together, we’ll work to achieve it.

He takes the reins as the previous state director, Zach Lahn, moves up to a new role in fundraising for the national organization.
