Chances are you probably never heard of Kathy Griffin, 56, unless you watched CNN’s coverage of New Years Eve that she co-hosted with Anderson Cooper.

She also had an Emmy Award winning TV show on the Bravo channel called, “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List.”

The “A-List” is the list of top people in the entertainment industry that are always invited to and attend the best big bash Hollywood parties.

She just moved from the D-List to the F-List.

What Was She Thinking?

Kathy Griffin released a photo of herself holding a replica of a bloody President Donald Trump severed head.

First lady Melania Trump has weighed in with her thoughts on CNN about Kathy Griffin's woefully distasteful video and photograph, depicting the bloody head of President Donald Trump.

"As a mother, a wife, and a human being, that photo is very disturbing," Melania Trump said in a statement. "When you consider some of the atrocities happening in the world today, a photo opportunity like this is simply wrong and makes you wonder about the mental health of the person who did it."

Since bashing Trump is the norm of the day why would Griffin think there would be anything but unending accolades by the Alt-left? Trump bashing is the new national pastime.

Madonna is ready to blow up the White House.

To her surprise she crossed a line even Democrats could not possibly go along with.

To their credit the Democrats to a person condemned the ill planned photo shoot — at least publically.

There was even a taped minute by minute record of the actual shoot as it was happening.

Bad Behavior Never Justifies Other Bad Behavior

While Griffin’s actions were reprehensible to most people Republican supporters are not clean handed either.

There were many instances of President Obama and First Lady Michele Obama being portrayed as monkeys. Bush as Hitler etc.

I felt those were way off base and both Republicans and Democrats agreed. But as far as I know someone famous didn’t do it.

Ted Nugent, as close as Republicans can get to someone semi-famous, did have his moments saying some pretty offensive things about President Obama.

Some Final Thoughts

Griffin woke up yesterday without a CNN New Years Eve job, and the loss of a couple endorsements.

So her comedy ignorance hit her pocketbook pretty hard. Will she still be making the rounds as a standup? Hard to say. She did issue an apology — too little too late.

Trump supporters show up at comedy clubs too.

I don’t think is the reaction she expected but it is what it is.

This is why you always have a back up career in the wings to use a theater reference.

Is this over the top or much ado about nothing?
