Lately, I've noticed quite a few people on social media in the Bozeman area asking for advice on what internet service to get.

Depending on where you are located in the Gallatin Valley, the answer changes. Also, the number of devices you plan on connecting to the internet plays a factor. If you have a gamer in your household, you'll probably want a faster internet speed.

Recently, a user on Bozeman Reddit page asked about the quality of internet providers in the Bozeman area.

According to the responses, Centurylink Fiber is currently the best internet available in the Bozeman area. However, it still isn't available to some residents due to their location in the valley. The truth is, there isn't one specific internet provider that works for all Bozeman residents. Many internet companies have been working to keep up with the rapid growth the Bozeman area has seen.

I use Spectrum, and upgraded to 400/MBps about a year ago. To be honest, I never get that speed. Instead, I average about 250/MBps. Personally, I haven't had many problems with Spectrum, but I've heard many stories from people that have.

When it comes to selecting an internet provider, it's best to do your research. As Bozeman continues to grow, faster internet speeds and options will follow.

Most of the people on the Bozeman Reddit thread claim that Centurylink Fiber is the best option, but that may not be available in your area. Spectrum currently has the largest coverage area, and has worked for me.
