What Socialized Medicine Would Mean to Montana

The thought in many conservative Republican circles is that when President Obama made Obamacare the law of the land, he knew it would fail. The former President really wanted the United States to have socialized medicine. When the American got used to Obamacare, as it began to fail, the people would demand a single-payer heath care system. Single-payer health care is socialized medicine.

Now everything conservatives warned about is happening. As Obamacare is sinking, Democrats in Washington DC are demanding single-payer health care.

Just yesterday, Montana's Democratic Senator Jon Tester said Congress should perhaps take a "solid look" at a single-payer health care system.

Montana Republican Party Chairman Debra Lamm has just released a statement to the media blasting Democratic Senator Jon Tester’s support for single-payer health care

“Senator Tester’s call for a single-payer health care system would be an absolute disaster for Montana families. As if Obamacare wasn’t bad enough, this would mean a complete government takeover of our health care industry. The result would be even higher premiums, rationed care, long wait times, and massive tax increases. This is socialized medicine and it does not represent our Montana values. Montanans will remember the tremendous burden Tester wants to place on our families with his support for single payer health care.”

So both parties understand Obamacare is not working, the the fight is how to fix it.
