What is the Most Listened To Band in Montana?
I am not saying this is a bad band, but there is no way this claim is accurate.
If there is one thing Montanans enjoy, it's music—whether at a live show, in the car, or while outside on a beautiful Montana night. The real question is, what is Montana's favorite band or artist? Well, we might have that answer.
Barstool Sports posted on Instagram a chart of Every State's Most Listened To Artist or Band, and for Montana, it's a bit of a head-scratcher. Barstool Sports, using statistics from SiriusXM, says that the most listened-to band in Montana is Imagine Dragons.

Listen, I am not going to trash Imagine Dragons. Imagine Dragons has a catalog of fantastic music, from Demons, to Bones, to many others. Plus, they put on one incredible concert at Bobcat Stadium a few years ago.
The only problem with this is we live in a state where country and folk music dominate the music scene. Almost every week there is a country or folk singer or band playing anywhere from Bozeman to Missoula to Emigrant.
If we had to put our finger on who is the most listened-to artist or band in Montana, it could go a couple of different ways. With country, we would probably pick either Morgan Wallen or Luke Combs. They both have sold-out shows every time they visit Montana and are huge with young people.
With folk music, we could go with Billy Strings, Jason Isbell, Ian Munsick, or even Zach Bryan. Every one of these folk artists has done multiple shows in Montana with massive crowds.
Maybe we are wrong. Do you think Imagine Dragons is Montana's favorite band, or do you think it's someone else?
