Two Bozeman Restaurants Named To The National Best Ribs List.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Bar-B-Q is a whole lot like religion, everyone thinks theirs is the best.
There is just something about the combination of low and slow-cooked meat with a nice spice rub, then covered in a rich, tangy sauce that speaks to our hearts, and that's probably one of the reasons many folks refer to Bar-B-Q as soul food.
Here in Montana, we have some fantastic choices when it comes to top-notch Bar-B-Q, however, you might be interested to know that when it comes to a specific dish, two Bozeman restaurants have the very best in the nation according to new data.
While everyone has their favorite when it comes to Bar-B-Q, most of us can agree that one of the most delicious meats you can smoke is ribs. There are a few different options when it comes to preparing this smokey treat, including beef or pork. Plus, do you do a dry rub only, or do you do a rub and then coat it in sauce?
Eat This, Not That has come out with a list of the Top 10 Best Chain Restaurants That Serve Ribs, and one of those restaurants is here in town, and the other will open in Bozeman soon.
So which two restaurants made the list? Outback Steakhouse and Texas Roadhouse both made the Top 10. In fact, not only did they make the Top 10, they both made the Top 3.
Outback Steakhouse, known for its catchy commercials and Bloomin' Onion came in number 3 for the best ribs in the nation as far as a chain restaurant goes. Outback has been a popular place for folks for a long time, and I had to tell you, the ribs are delicious and go great as a side with a steak or as a meal on their own.
Next up, Texas Roadhouse. The new Bozeman restaurant will soon be open, and for those of you that have never dined at a Texas Roadhouse, you're in for a real treat. Famous for their rolls and honey butter, Texas Roadhouse also serves up some fantastic ribs, in fact, they're so good, that they are ranked first in the nation for chain restaurants.
Of course, there are several more options around the area if you love great ribs, including what I believe to be the best ribs I've ever had over at Follow Yer Nose BBQ in Emigrant.
