247tempo.com released a list of the best hidden gem restaurants in every state. To be honest, we were surprised by the restaurant that the website picked for Montana. If you're wondering what restaurant it is, it's the Western Cafe in Bozeman.

Don't get me wrong. I love the Western Cafe, and their biscuits & gravy are some of the best I've ever had. The Western Cafe has been feeding locals and visitors for over 50 years. When you walk into the Western Cafe, it feels like you're walking into the past. Much of Bozeman has changed throughout the years, but the Western Cafe has managed to remain the same. It's a place where Montana hospitality is of utmost importance. You're always greeted with a smile and leave with a full belly.

The Western Cafe is definitely a gem, but I wouldn't call it a hidden gem. Customers line up outside of the front door waiting for a seat. For the most part, you have to wait a while before you get seated, but the food at the Western Cafe makes it worth the wait.

If you're a fan of old-fashioned home cooking, the Western Cafe has a reputation for being one of the best. The next time you're in Bozeman, make sure you stop by for a hot meal. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy.
