Suspect found dead after fatal Butte hit-and-run collision
BUTTE, Mont. (AP) — Authorities say a man suspected in a hit-and-run collision that killed a motorcyclist in Butte has been found dead in a nearby town.
The Montana Standard reported Saturday that the body of Marcus Sepulveda was found in Anaconda, about 25 miles (40 kilometers) west of Butte.
Butte-Silver Bow County Sheriff Ed Lester said an investigation is underway. He didn't say how Sepulveda died or when he was found.
Deputies believe Sepulveda was driving a car that struck and killed a motorcyclist in Butte on Friday and then left the scene. The motorcyclist was a 41-year-old man whose name hasn't been made public.
