Former Bozeman High School football player Will Dissly was selected Saturday in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks.

Dissly was considered to be one of the best run blocking tight ends available in this year's draft. He fills a need for a Seattle team that recently lost two of its top tight ends to free agency in Jimmy Graham and Luke Willson.

The 6-foot 4-inch, 265 pound Dissly was projected to be drafted in the middle rounds of the 2018 draft thanks in part to a strong showing at this year's NFL combine in Indianapolis.

While at the University of Washington, Dissly was mostly used in blocking situations, but when targeted in the offense he proved to be a reliable pass catcher.

Dissly began his career at Washington as a defensive lineman before moving to tight end his final two years. He had 21 receptions for 289 yards and two touchdowns as a senior in 2017, with both of those touchdowns coming against the University of Montana.
