Rib & Chop House or Montana Club? Which One Is Better?
Franchise restaurants can be found in most Montana towns or cities, but these two were homegrown and incredible.
Wherever you go in Montana, you can find family-style franchise restaurants. Texas Roadhouse, Chili's, Applebee's, and other nationally recognized franchises are the most popular. Montanans love to frequent locally owned restaurants that won't break the bank on a large party.
We have a couple of restaurant franchises that started here in Montana and are beloved by many locals. These two places have multiple locations statewide, offer different atmospheres, and have reasonable prices.
One of those franchises is the Montana Club. The Montana Club has locations in Kalispell, Missoula, Great Falls, Butte, and Billings. The Montana Club has a fantastic menu covering everything from steaks to seafood to pasta. This restaurant is where everyone can find something that they're going to enjoy. My favorite part about The Montana Club is they have a tradition if you visit on your birthday, they discount whatever your age is that day.
The other Montana franchise is The Rib & Chop House. The Rib & Chop House started in 2001 with its original location in Livingston. The franchise has since branched out to Billings, Butte, and Bozeman. Plus, they have added locations in the surrounding states. The Rib & Chop House is the place to go for several excellent cuts of steaks and ribs in Montana.
The question we have to ask ourselves is, which Montana franchise is better? Sure, The Montana Club has more locations statewide, but The Rib & Chop House has more locations overall.
When it comes down to it, both of these homegrown restaurant franchises are fantastic separately. Neither one is better than the other. I have been to The Montana Club and The Rib & Chop House, and both restaurants have never disappointed me.
