I just received word from the Montana Public Service Commission, and I know a lot of people have been worrying about this, but there is some good news - the Fergus Electric Cooperative and  NorthWestern Energy have struck a deal.

No need to panic. Under the agreement power will be provided to a proposed copper mine located near White Sulphur Springs. NorthWestern Energy will provide power and the deal has been approved by the Montana Public Service Commission. NorthWestern waives the right to provide electric service to Tintina Resources, allowing Fergus Electric to take up the slack.

We need these guy helping us make a deal with North Korea.

“I’m pleased the parties could come to an agreement to provide service to the Black Butte Copper facility. This project is too important to the future of the community to be delayed by a protracted legal battle over service territory,” said Commissioner Roger Koopman who is a frequent guest on Dominick In The Morning.

In my opinion, if Fergus Electric Cooperative and NorthWestern Energy could come to an agreement without bloodshed, there maybe chance for world peace.
