Personally, I don't drink a lot of soda, but I'll make an exception for an ice-cold Dr. Pepper every now and then. When I heard that they were releasing a new flavor, I decided to check out a few local grocery stores to see if I could find it.

After striking out my first few attempts, I finally found the new Strawberries & Cream Dr. Pepper at a gas station near my house. Out of curiosity, I bought a bottle to see what all the hype was about.

Reviewing the New Strawberries & Cream Dr. Pepper

I was a little surprised when I took my first sip. It wasn't really what I expected. There are hints of strawberry, but it is very faint. At first, it tasted like a regular Dr. Pepper, but the aftertaste is lingering strawberry.

Here's how the company describes the new flavor;

The new beverage treat is the original 23 flavors of Dr. Pepper swirled with layers of refreshing strawberry flavor and a smooth, creamy finish. Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream is an exciting evolution for our brand's flavor portfolio as it joins our permanent lineup alongside popular varieties such as Dr Pepper & Cream Soda and Dr Pepper Zero Sugar.

Honestly, it was pretty good, but I'll probably just stick to regular Dr. Pepper in the future.
