Montanans Show Up And Donate Big For Operation H2Go Water Drive.
What started out as an idea on Tuesday morning quickly developed into an event that took place Thursday afternoon, which turned into a huge success thanks to some very giving Montanans.
Just a few days after record flooding damaged several areas here in Montana, folks showed up in full force to donate to Operation H2Go. The water drive, which was held at 5 different Town and Country Food locations in Bozeman, Belgrade, and Livingston, each had Operation H2Go drop-off zones for bottled water. This water would then be distributed to various communities in need, after floods had damaged water-cleaning systems and contaminated clean water sources.
Operation H2Go, a one-day event, was held from noon until 6 pm yesterday. Folks from Townsquare Media, NextHome Destination, and HRDC were set up at the different locations collecting water for those affected by the floods.
So just how much water was donated?
When it was all said and done, there were roughly 28 pallets—over 28 thousand bottles—of water donated by local Montanans. The water will be delivered to the Livingston area by Harrington Pepsi of Montana, which gives folks affected by the flooding easier access to clean water. To say that this is amazing is certainly an understatement. Once again, Montanans show why they are some of the most giving folks in the country.
While the waters have receded, the need for various supplies is ongoing in many of the locations affected by floods. Things like toiletries, certain clothing, and other items are in high demand and there are several different organizations that are excepting monetary donations.

Of course, we have to thank all of the amazing businesses and people that came together to make Operation H2Go possible. Town and Country Foods, Harrington Pepsi of Montana, Gallatin Valley Food Bank, NextHome Destination, Ink Outside The Box, and Townsquare Media of Bozeman.
Finally, we have to thank you. You are the folks that come through every time there is a need. You are the folks that take care of your neighbors without hesitation. You are Montana, and we couldn't be more proud to be part of this great state.
