We're down to just a few days. It's a game that many Bobcat fans have been waiting their whole life for. The National Championship Game. It's been 37 years since the Bobcats have played for the National Championship and I can't think of a better opponent.

The North Dakota State Bison.

First off, let's give them their due. NDSU has become an FCS powerhouse, they are the gold standard. They've had two quarterbacks go in the first round of the NFL Draft in the last few years and when you throw in the fact that they've won 8 National Titles in the last 10 years, well, that's impressive no matter how you look at it.

Will the Bison continue their dominance, or will the Bobcats go down to Texas and shock the world and bring home their first National Championship since 1984?

To put that in perspective, and just how long it's been, the number one song this week back in 1984 was "Say Say Say" by Sir Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson. The number one television sitcom was The Cosby Show. The number one movie this week back in 1984? Beverly Hills Cop. MTV still played videos and "rat tails" and "parachute pants" were considered fashionable.

Aww, the good old days. Man, I miss the 80's, but I digress

So I ask you, who's going to win on Saturday? Will it be the mighty Bison hailing from the great plains state of North Dakota?  Or will it be the up-and-coming Bobcats who are on the attack from the mountains of Montana?
