Montana River Town Voted One Of The Most Beautiful In America.
All across the great state of Montana, you will find stunning views of mountain peaks, as well as majestic lakes, rivers, and streams. People from all over the world come to Montana to not only take in the beauty but also participate in all of the activities associated with it.
From fly fishing to rafting and floating, there are tons of fun things that can happen on a river here in Montana, and locals and tourists alike make sure they enjoy them every chance they get.
With that being said, it shouldn't come as that big of a surprise that a Montanan town was named one of the best river towns in America.
The folks over at World Atlas came out with their list of the Prettiest River Towns in America and a popular Montana city made the cut. Missoula made the Top 10 joining other cities across America such as Macon Georgia, Bend Oregon, Ashville North Carolina, and Bosie Idaho.
Missoula, which is located on the Clark Fork River is famous for Caras Park, which is located next to the river and is home to the Carousel for Missoula, as well as Brennen's Wave which is perfect for those that want that whole whitewater or surfing experience but don't want to leave downtown Missoula.
Not to mention there are tons of different restaurants and bars that overlook the river and make for a fantastic setting for a romantic get-together or a fun night out with friends.
Of course, Missoula isn't the only beautiful river town in Montana. Towns like Livingston, Ennis, Big Fork, and Great Falls are also known as great towns to enjoy the water.
