You never know what kind of treasures you'll find at a thrift store. Thrift stores are truly magical places and have become increasingly popular in recent years.

With the cost of living in Bozeman through the roof, a lot of people are constantly looking for a good deal. One of the great things about thrift stores is that the inventory is always changing and the treasures you find will differ every time you visit one.

There are a lot of people that love thrifting in the Bozeman area, and many vintage clothing styles are making a comeback.

That's why Katie Ann Pounds decided to open the Treasure Emporium Second Hand Shop in Bozeman.

I've always been a thrifter. I wanted to give the people living in the Bozeman area the opportunity to find some really cool high-quality items at an affordable price. All I want to do is be a part of the Bozeman community and make it better.

Said Pounds, a Montana native and worked for HRDC for 8 years. During her time there, she gained a lot of experience working with Bozeman's homeless community. She realized that there was a lot of need, and decided to do something about it. One of the things that brings her the most joy is seeing someone find a treasure in her store.

Treasure Emporium recently partnered with Cancer Support Community Montana. When checking out at Treasure Emporium you can "round up" your purchase to support CSCMT.

Treasure Emporium is located at 16 N. 9th Avenue in the old Greek to Me building next to Ashley Furniture in Bozeman.
