In 2019, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was travelling around the country for weekly performances known as "Sunday Service." Almost all of the performances included a large choir that was flown in specifically for the event.

The "Sunday Service" performances were spiritual and religious events held each Sunday in 2019. Many believe that they were used to promote Ye's album, Jesus is King which was released in October of 2019.

One of the places where Kayne performed was Cody, Wyoming. The "Sunday Service took place on the grass outside of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. When I first heard about it, I was curious to know what it was all about.

I told my roommate about it, and we both thought it would be cool to go check it out. After all, Cody is only a three-hour drive from Bozeman. We decided to drive to Cody on Saturday, spend the night, and be first in line on Sunday morning.

The experience turned out to be something that I'll never forget. It's hard to put into words, but I was actually moved spiritually by it. To be honest, I'm not the biggest Kanye fan, but I felt as if I was a part of something really special.

Today marks the 3-year anniversary of my trip to see Kanye in Wyoming on September 22, 2019. Never be afraid to do something crazy and spontaneous. Most of the time, those experiences make the best memories.
