Catching Up With Tom Homan at the White House, Montana Connection
When we first arrived at the White House to go LIVE from media row the day after President Trump's State of the Union, one of the first people we ran into right outside the West Wing was Border Czar Tom Homan.
We went up and said hello to and thanked him for everything he’s doing for our country. He told us he spent a year in Helena, Montana back in the early 2000s and there was a really good sandwich shop that had their own version of the Big Mac that he really enjoyed. When we said we are from Montana- he replied “God’s Country.” Amen.
Below is two hours of our live coverage from the White House on Wednesday. I'll have more to follow over the next couple days following our quick trip to DC for the State of the Union coverage.
By the way, the moment Tom Homan arrived at the White House- the crew from Breitbart News snagged a quick interview with him and I caught the video via Eric Daugherty, who shared the Breitbart News video:
Daugherty wrote:
JUST IN: Tom Homan responds to Pope Leo opposing Trump's deportations "If we jumped the wall at the Vatican, penalties are MUCH harder than in America." "Women get r*ped on the journey here...I'd be happy to sit down with him and explain it to him."
According to Breitbart News, Homan also added: "I’m a lifelong Catholic, a still-practicing Catholic,” Homan added as Breitbart News asked him on Tuesday to comment on the recent media coverage of the pro-migration comments from Catholic bishops. “The Catholic faith is always in support of law enforcement — always has been. [Pope Leo] should be too.”
