The Montana Photos of the Week, Frogmen and Khameini
What a contrast- Navy SEAL vet Senator Tim Sheehy lighting a photo of the now deceased Ayatollah Khameini on fire, while former Senator Jon Tester wore a frog hat to protest Trump.
One week ago there were two photos that I was thinking of as I was getting ready to turn on the microphone for the radio show- the photo of Jack Hughes raising his fist in the air after the US took the gold in hockey, and the photo of a newly crowned state wrestling champ here in Montana drinking from his sweaty wrestling shoe after the win.
This week, as I get ready for another week...there's two more photos standing out.
Background on the Sheehy photo:
When Iranian women were protesting the oppressive regime of the Ayatollah Khomeini a while back, they would take a photo of the Ayatollah, light a cigarette, and destroy the photo in flames. Senator Sheehy, who spoke out in his 2024 election against the Iranian regime and the American troops they killed over the past 4 decades, did the same and the photo went viral. He shared that again after joint US/Israel strikes killed the despot over the weekend.
Background on the Tester photo:
Former Democrat Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) was defeated by Navy SEAL veteran and now US Senator Tim Sheehy (R-MT). When I first saw this photo of Jon Tester wearing a goofy frog hat at a State of the Union protest event against President Trump, I thought it was a joke. As you can see in the video below, it wasn't. And by the way, in that video Tester says that if the Dems take back control of Congress, they need to "impeach the son of a b*tch." I laughed at the photo of Tester- after losing to a Navy SEAL, now HE thinks he is a frogman.
