There’s a Crazy Montana Connection to the Diddy Case
I got an alert from the New York Times about how there is a Montana connection with the Diddy case. That's crazy. I wonder what the story is there.
First, some of you may be wondering who this "Diddy" guy even is. Sean Combs. Back in the 90's and early 2000s the kids would have known the rapper by the name Puffdaddy, and later as Diddy...or as Sean "Diddy" Combs. He's been a prominent backer of Democrat presidential candidates like Barack Obama and others, and he's now embroiled in a massive sex assault case.
The New York Times sent out an alert Monday afternoon featuring this:
A Montana call center has become the central collection point for sex abuse allegations against Sean Combs. The lawsuits against the music mogul, who denies assaulting anyone, amount to what’s called a mass tort, in which many people, often drawn by advertising, file claims against a common defendant. https://nyti.ms/4iBukfY
I wondered what the connection was with Montana, and since I don't pay for a New York Times subscription, I asked Grok- the AI platform created by Elon Musk that is now a part of the X social media platform.
The NY Times reports a Montana call center, run by Reciprocity Industries, handles a hotline for sex abuse claims against Sean Combs. A lawyer there is processing hundreds of complaints, leading to dozens of lawsuits. Montana’s low profile and cheaper operations likely make it a strategic spot for such a sensitive gig.
I then asked Grok, who is the lawyer?
Their name isn’t public, but they’re processing hundreds of claims, fueling dozens of lawsuits against Diddy.
*Update Tuesday afternoon- we can confirm that AVA Law in Billings is the law firm handling the calls. Thanks to the firm for replying to my message earlier Tuesday AM.

Some of my followers on X then sent me direct messages saying who they believe the law firm is...I shot a note to at least one of the firms and will let you know if/what I hear back.
