If it's an election year, it must be time for another (yawn) Pearl Jam concert in Missoula...which is really just an election year stunt/fundraiser for far Left liberal Democrat Senator Jon Tester (D-MT).

But this year, it's also another reminder of how Tester will say one thing in public, and something else in private. It's a reminder of how this Washington fat cat Jon Tester will say one thing in Montana, and do another in Washington, DC.

This year, Tester is facing a very tough re-election fight against Navy SEAL veteran and aerial firefighter Tim Sheehy.

Back in 2018, when Tester was last up for re-election, Pearl Jam promoted their political rally for Tester with a poster featuring a dead Donald Trump and the White House on fire (featured in the above photo which was obtained by KGVO Radio's Jon King in 2018). At the time, Tester publicly disavowed the poster and the portrayal of President Trump.

As The Washington Examiner reportedly recently, "Tester’s campaign insisted it neither condoned violence nor approved of the poster" back in 2018. "However, despite the Tester campaign condemning the anti-Trump art in 2018, the senator hummed to a different tune in a passage buried in his 2020 book Grounded: A Rural Democrat’s Fight to Unite a Divided America, the Washington Examiner found. In the book, Tester revealed that he “actually loved” the Pearl Jam poster."

There you have it. Another reminder that Tester will say one thing publicly back here in Montana when he actually believes something different. Kind of like when he said he supported the Keystone Pipeline, but then voted against it when it mattered the most. Kind of like how he claims he supports border security, but has stood with Biden and Kamala Harris' open border policies every step of the way.

That's why Tim Sheehy calls him "two faced Tester."

Evan Hood with The Yellowstone County News also reminds us of Tester's history when it comes to invoking violent rhetoric against President Trump. "Tester has also said in a 2018 interview with MSNBC that the only way to beat President Trump is to 'punch him in the face.”

As I reported back in April, Donald Trump, Jr. tore into Montana's liberal Senator Jon Tester (D-MT), who once told MSNBC how Trump's critics should "punch him in the face."

"This leftwing fraud wants to trick Montanans into believing that he's a 'moderate' who supports my father's policies, Donald Trump, Jr said via X. "Don't buy it for a second. Tester is a Biden rubber-stamp and anti-Trump radical!"
