"Wounded Eagle." That's how Family Circle headlined the story back in November of 1994. The National Enquirer wrote, "IT'S A MIRACLE! Arrow pierces boy's brain---& he lives." The Enquirer later added, "Gutsy 9-year-old walks to get help with 5-foot shaft lodged in his head.

Last week, we told you how I was headed to Malta, Montana for a very special reunion. We sat down with "Doc," the young man whose life she helped save after a 5 foot arrow lodged into his brain, and the man who made the whole reunion happen.

Here's the full incredible audio from that conversation on Friday morning.

KMMR Malta also shared some great photos of Robin Stewart, who was injured in Wyola back in 1993, and his beautiful family- along with the SPEAR that lodged into his brain. "Doc" Cynthia Norrgran had held on to the tip of the spear all these years.

Here's more of the backstory we shared last week:

So what's the story in Malta? As KMMR radio in Malta shared on Facebook earlier this week, Friday's show features an extraordinary story involving Cynthia Norrgran, known to many in Malta as "Doc" on the radio.

KMMR Radio: "While the life-saving operation took place years ago outside Montana, Cynthia is very much one of us now and has been part of the KMMR family for over a year. Decades ago, Cynthia was the surgeon who performed the operation that saved the life of Robin Stewart, a 9-year-old from Wyoming who suffered a horrific accident when an arrow pierced his skull. Millimeters from death, the arrow narrowly missed a major artery."

The First Reunion Since the Medical Miracle

KMMR Radio: Now, for the first time since that day, Cynthia and Robin will sit down together on air to talk about what happened, what it meant then, and what it means now. Also joining them will be Orvin Solberg, who played a key role in helping bring this reunion together.
