On Monday we put together a roll up of several of the illegal alien stories in the news here in Montana- but we forget one big one.

I included it in our on air radio coverage Monday a.m., but somehow forgot to include it in our website story. And big credit to Gallatin County Sheriff Dan Spring...and to NBC Montana for reporting on this: Drug bust in Bozeman leads to arrests and major narcotics seizure

Here's what stood out to me, in addition to the fact that large amounts of cash, cocaine, and meth were seized:

Intelligence from this operation prompted a search warrant for the male's Bozeman apartment, executed on April 4 by MRDTF investigators and local law enforcement. An adult Hispanic female was detained during the search, which yielded approximately one pound of cocaine and $145,000 in cash. Both the male and female were determined to be in the country illegally and were booked on drug-related charges.

Further down in that same story:

The results of the searched warrant yielded three adult Hispanic males later determined to be in the United States illegally, approximately 2 pounds of methamphetamine, over 1 pound of cocaine, approximately $45,000, and four motor vehicles seized.

The prosecutions of those illegal aliens and the smugglers is taking place in federal court in Great Falls.

Speaking of Great Falls...the Illegal Alien Crimes account on X always shares very interesting information when it comes to arrest reports in Montana and elsewhere across the country. Here's the story out of Billings, Montana where ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) arrested an illegal alien from Mexico on felony possession of narcotics, DUI charges. ICE also reports that he will be deported ASAP.

And in Bozeman and Gallatin County, people need to be reminded that the Gallatin County Attorney, a Democrat, is doubling down on her obstruction against federal ICE agents who are working to deport criminal illegal aliens from the Bozeman area. According to NBC Montana, the county attorney said, “Nothing about this detention contract makes Gallatin County a safer place to live, work, or go to school."
