Alright...look closely at the photo. See the plates. See the make. And then the location on the sign. Classic.

If you haven't ever seen their page, "The Hipsters of Bozeman" Instagram page is one of the funniest social media accounts in Montana. Let's just say Bozeman tends to be a target rich environment at times.

When sharing the below photo of a Subaru with California plates crashing into a sign in Big Sky, the Hipsters of Bozeman added their own fictional account of how they believe it all went down:

“Mom don’t be mad. I made it all the here from Merced and tried to turn into the airbnb you and dad paid for and since dad never put my chains on my tires I slid into the sign. I told you I needed something newer than a 2023 Subaru to get around here. Please call a tow truck for me, Petaluma and I are going to head down to the One and Only to clear our heads, please make sure you put some money in my account.”
