At least 10 different Montana sheriffs have now sounded off. They're saying that Democrat Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) straight up lied or is "misleading at best" in his campaign ads.

Most of these sheriffs have now shared their statements on Facebook and other social media platforms. I've now seen statements from Madison County, Custer County, Judith Basin County, Fallon County, Phillips County, Stillwater County, Dawson County, Toole County, Broadwater County and others.

This past weekend I told you how the Roosevelt and Park County Sheriffs had already sounded off after seeing campaign ads from Tester claiming that he secured funding for law enforcement in their counties.

The Roosevelt County Sheriff wrote, in part, "Nobody knows anything about this 1.8 million. Our citizens In Roosevelt County are suffering in every way because of drugs."

That resonated with one of our listeners. Here's what Kate in Poplar sent us:

"Things are dire here in Roosevelt county due to drugs and crime. I know we aren’t unique, this same chaos is spreading across our nation. It’s a heart and moral issue at the root of things, people are hurting and searching for something to numb pain and fill voids. We NEED to return to Christ as a nation. But while we work on that we need to shut the border down!! It’s ridiculous to think that the rampant increase in drugs the last 4 years isn’t related to that. Thank you to these local sheriffs for speaking up. They need real help to end this nonsense and protect citizens, not just election year lip service." (Katepoplar - 10/29 @ 09:18am)

Park County Sheriff Brad Bichler added,  "In all of the years I have been Sheriff, Senator Tester has never reached out to me or my office to show support for us in anyway."

Bichler even went so far as to say that he is endorsing Navy SEAL veteran Tim Sheehy in the US Senate race. (Sheehy is running against Tester)

Here's what else stood out about this story: the Montana media completely ignored this massive story. Two outlets finally did a story several days later, but they still ended up covering for Tester. Some outlets have still refused to cover this story as they cover for Tester in the days running up to the election (but they'll gladly run with any fake news attack against Navy SEAL Tim Sheehy). The media IS the story this election.
