Foreign Financiers Funding the Division in Montana, Elsewhere
What is fueling so much of the violence and discord in America? Foreign financiers funneling money through "nonprofits." One name should be VERY familiar here in Montana.
Hansjorg Wyss.
He is the foreign financier who funds far Left environmental groups right here in Montana. He's also the moneybags funding these so called "Indivisible" groups which are driving so much division and chaos in the country right now. (Oh, he also funds fake news websites here in Montana)
There is a must-read piece at The Federalist that came out following the US House Ways and Means Committee Hearing on Capitol Hill Tuesday.
Prior to the hearing, Chairman Jason Smith told Fox News Digital how foreign financiers are taking advantage of the tax exempt status of nonprofit organizations to push their agenda.
Chairman Smith: "What we have been investigating for some time now, we're finding a money trail that is very, very unfortunate. A lot of foreign dollars from foreign billionaires are coming in and creating chaos and unrest in the United States and they're actually using our tax exempt status. So basically, taxpayers are subsidizing their activities...This is not a Republican, this is not a Democrat issue. This is an American issue. We need to make sure that countries that fly a different flag than the United States, of course, that aren't friendly to us, aren't able to use our own tax system to work against us and to create and divide Americans."
Chairman Smith added that the violence that has been coming from some of the foreign dollars from the Chinese Communist Party into nonprofits in the US has led to unrest in LA and unrest in Minnesota.

“The precise reason this Swiss billionaire or any other foreign billionaire can do this is because foreign money running through foundations and nonprofits to influence policy and advocacy is not prohibited,” APT Executive Director Caitlin Sutherland said. “This has allowed Mr. Wyss to keep the lights on at numerous left-wing nonprofits around town, including giving $280 million to Sixteen Thirty Fund, $30 million to the League of Conservation Voters network, $9 million to the ACLU network, and $7 million to Indivisible — the chief organization leading nationwide protests”...“How these tax-exempt organizations can simultaneously raise and spend hundreds of millions of dollars from foreign actors, be it from Switzerland or China, all while seeking to influence policies in our backyard, is a problem worth solving,” she added.
